Guided tours of the Observatoire’s Nancay site.

The tours are carried out by guides from “Pôle de l’espace et des étoiles” (formerly “Ciel Ouvert en Sologne”), an organization independent from the Observatoire de Paris located next to the Nancay site. They take place twice a day, at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm by appointment (closed on Tuesday, except in July-August).

THE TOUR (Tour length: 2 hours)

Visitors are introduced to radio astronomy through the site’s two large scientific instruments: the decimetric radio telescope and the radioheliograph.
