The Observatoire de Paris offers an astronomical information service for the public. It is provided by the Institute for Celestial Mechanics and Computation of Ephemerides (IMCCE), which specializes in the calculation of the position of the celestial bodies in the solar system, as well as in the preparation of calendars.
Research activities at the Observatoire de Paris have always involved numerous exchanges with the international scientific community. The creation today of a structure devoted to international relations will allow us to strengthen this cooperation, especially at the European level.
